Anchorage Montessori School (AMS) was founded in 1977 and began its affiliation with the American Montessori Society in 1978. Our school currently offers classes to children from 19 months of age through the 6th Grade. AMS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation governed by an 11 member Board of Directors.
